organic●ally™ is very aware of many children who now suffer from various allergies. We thought perhaps for these children, organic cotton would be kinder to their skin, starting from nappies.

The cloth nappy 'movement' has been growing in the UK. Incidentally, Siew-Peng's son was also asked - TWICE - to model for a large disposable nappy brand in China.

Imagine: more than one billion people, and all the parents of young babies switching from cloth nappies to disposables. How could her son, in twenty years' time, say, live with the reputation (and guilt?) of having his face (and bum) plastered all over billboards in China, to persuade the Chinese to do something so fundamentally harmful to the environment?

Siew-Peng quickly sacked the modelling agency as they obviously did not understand what "no disposable nappy assignments" meant.

organic●ally™ does not stock cloth nappies, but a customer requested that we stocked some reusable organic cotton wet wipes. If you are already using cloth nappies, what are a couple more wipes to put in the wash instead of throwing more disposable (but not biodegradable) wipes into landfills?

The reusable organic cotton cosmetic pads were also a response to customer demand. As Siew-Peng does not use make-up she did not realize how these could make a difference to the environment. Then it was pointed out to her that the cosmetic pads came in plastic. Ouch! Hankettes and organic●ally™ then worked together to come up with the cloth bag to hold the cosmetic pads. The bags are useful in storing as well as laundering the pads.
