organic●ally™ does not deal directly with food and drink. However, having switched to organic food and drink wherever possible in our family for the past eight years, Siew-Peng has found that her severe hay fever has greatly improved (although her skin rashes persist). It is almost like she's gone through a slow 'de-tox' during this time.
We have taken to having organic fruit delivered weekly in a bag (cuts down on packaging). Organic milk is also delivered by the same supplier in glass bottles which are then washed and returned.
Fresh organic meat and vegetables are bought at a supermarket co-operative, and supplemented where necessary by organic food from another supermarket which Siew-Peng gets to on foot.
We eat very little of 'snacks' like crisps and sweets, etc. We believe that we should spend the bulk of our food budget on good, healthy food rather than buying lots of cheap food and then spend the money we 'saved' on junk food.
Our son has learned that the best hamburgers are those Mum makes at home. For him, to go to a famous hamburger joint where they hand out nice toys and stuff is 'punishment'.
